In this contemporary era, it has been suggested that policy makers should provide supports for protections of all wild animals. Some people believe that this support is important to preserve our biodiversity, while others argue that protecting all species are not significant. I strongly believe that wild animal should be treated equally because each of them has significant contribution in ecological system.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why many individuals think that all wild animals are important. One of the primary reasons is to maintain a balanced environment, where every species is dependable on each other. One clear example of this predators control other animals, while birds or insects help pollinating plants. It is also worth noting that disappearance of one particular animal can disrupt the food chain and negatively affects other animals and plants. As a result, the conservations of all wild animals are crucial for a healthy ecosystem as well as biodiversity.
On the other hand, some people argue that only certain species should receive greater protection. This is mainly because governments may have scarcity of funds or limited resources, and therefore emphasize on caring of all wild species means ignoring other vital sectors like health, education and transports. A practical example of this is that the authorities can allocate financial supports to protect endangered animals like Royal Bengal Tigers in India rather than all animals. Another significant reason is that if concentration is given to limited animals, outcome will be more visible compare to focus on all animals.
To sum up, although prioritizing certain species may be necessary because of limited resources, I believe that all wild animals deserve protection in maintaining ecological balance.
