Nowadays, whilst many people believed that is essential for houses to be built for long term use others argued that accommodation should be constructed quickly and affordable. Personally, I totally agree with the former thoughts because of some rationales discussed in this essay.
In the one hand, with the grown of urban resident has leaded to the significant increase in accommodation demands. As the result, more houses, flats and apartments have to be built in a rapid speed and cost a reasonable price in order to be suitable for all civilians. To deal with these problems, many construction corporations nowadays have provided many buildings option which involve fast constructing houses and costing minimal money, this has greatly satisfied the need in accommodation in various cities and also releasing the financial burden of many city’s citizens. However, the quality of these quick-built houses may not reach the standard needed to be able to withstand the harsh of time and nature.
On the other hand, contrast to the quick-built houses, long term accommodations are constructed for privacy and expedition purpose rather than to cope with the growing population. Therefore, this type of houses is built with more times, money and effort so it is more resistant and sustainable to natural conditions and the destruction of time. Because of its quality, long term buildings can last for a long period of time to be reused by many owners with minor downgrade, be able to provide living place for more than one residents and be able to support city residents in case of natural disasters such as firebush or earthquake. Because of those reason, i personally believed that long term building is a more superior option compare to quick-built accommodations in both terms of quality and application.
In conclusion, it is no doubt that both of these ways of construction accommodations have their own advantages and downside. However, constructing house to able to last for long time have a lot more future uses and long-term benefits thus it is a better choice for accommodation in the modern world.
