In today’s society, some people that charity organizations should only offer help to the population of their own nations, while others suggest that the help should be offered to people regardless of nationality. I think that helping people from every corner is beneficial to economic growth.
On the one hand, some argue that charitable organizations should focus supporting their own citizens. The reason is that most of organizations have limited financial support from the local nations that invest to help their nation. Also, local charities may understand the problems of their own people better than problems in other countries.
On the other hand, others including me, believe that charity groups should assist people in need without regard to nationality. This is because volunteering work beyond borders prompts the development of good relationships among other countries. Also, nowadays we live in a global world and problems in one country can affect others. For example, if there is a war or natural disaster, people from different countries can suffer. Finally, helping others in need, no matter where they are, can make the world a better place.
In conclusion, charity organizations should try to help people in both their own and other countries. They can focus more on their local area, but when possible they should also support international people who really to help.
