It is often debated that sports promote a competition among students instead of brotherhood and unity. While understanding the view point ,i strongly disagree. Sports play a vital role in keeping students active and healthy therefore, sports need to be continued at school.
On the one hand, sports offer tremendous benefits to students, as they help them improve in several aspects of their lives. First and foremost, it is the best way to improve the physical health as its boast the strength ,increase stamina and helps to maintain a healthy weight. As a result it reduces the risk of diseases namely heart attacks, high cholesterol and many more. Besides sports can enhance mental health reducing stress and anxiety which is crucial for students to perform better in their classes and be able to concentrate more on their studies. It is also significant for them to mastered in time management and discipline by balancing sports and study. Due to that, students learn to follow rules. Furthermore, sports can also encourage students to help each other and how to become a team player.
On the other hand, it might be argued that sports should not be included in schools, as there are several factors supporting this view. Firstly, sports increase the risk of injuries due to that parents do not allowed their children to participate in school sports competition. In addition, they might focus more on games than academic. Sports can take up a lot of time for practice, training, and competitions. This can sometimes affect studies. Eventually, Certain sports may lead to aggressive behaviour, especially if players get overly competitive or emotional during games.
In conclusion, although sports have some negative aspects, I believe that they should be made mandatory in every school, as they offer significant benefits and help students become better human beings in the future.
