It is believed by some people that electronic books will be the end of paper books. On the other hand, some others argue that paper books will never die. From my view, I believe paper books never cease to exist and both sides will be discussed below.
It is undeniable that electronic books have plenty of advantages, that’s why some people claim virtual books will eventually replace paper books. Firstly, they can be stored easily and conveniently, help citizens save much time and a portable library at low cost instead of finding in a library with a lot of. In addition, most electronic devices support readers with searching tool which helps search for a specific piece of information at ease. Another advantage of e-books is that they usually cheaper than paper books in a same type, and thus a good choice for those who have a tight budget.
However, i do not think that those electronic books may one day completely replace paper books. Paper books also have such a good qualities like the smell of papers and the feeling of holding a real book. Moreover, people do not need to worry about the battery problem which is a chronic nuisance when reading e-books. The important thing is paper books do not damage to eyes like electronic books, which is safe for both children and adults. Last but not least is many people like the appearance of real books on their bookshelves at home, and e-books can never offer it. Therefore it is unlikely that paper books will come to an end.
In conclusion, i firmly believe that paper books will continue to play an important role in nowadays and never be totally superseded by electronic books for the above reasons.
