Some people argue that the main support for protecting the environment should be held by the government and authorities, while others believe that this issue can be solved through the tolerance of citizens. Personally, I think both the government and citizens must take care of the nature and cleanliness of the city.
On the one hand, as authorities and politicians have more power and influence on the real situation and problems happening in the city, most modifications to ameliorate pollution should be taken by the government. For instance, politicians can take actions such as embedding special patrols such as eco police for controlling crowded areas in the city.
Citizens also can take care of the environment. First and foremost, they can travel by public transport, such as buses and subways instead of private cars, which emit toxic gases, or choose more eco-friendly approaches. For example, using a bike is not only beneficial for health, but it can reduce traffic on roads. Then, citizens can hold eco events, where they will compit in who can collect the most trash on pavements.
In conclusion, both sides should take measures and take steps in having clear city as every one lives there and breathes the same air. Moreover we must save nature for our future generations.
