People have different views about whether artists should depend on the government for their funding or they have potential to earning money using alternative approaches. In my view, I believe that government should protect the creative people such as artists by providing funds to enhancing their quality of life.

On the one hand, a creative artist should not depend on public institutions such as the government, especially to find their source of funds. Particular government have responsibility to serve each profession equally, because most of the governments depend on the tax payers. In addition, these performers have inborn talents to express their thoughts using particular media such as music or paint. As a result, there are more probability to find their source of money using those natural advantages. For example, in many countries, there are several associations build up by these artists for serve themselves, and they might have opportunity to conduct several art galleries or musical shows to raise their funds. Using these alternative options, those well talented individual could find their income easily, and live without being burdened by others.

On the other hand, government should provide financial facilities to these artists for continue the creative works. Furthermore, within recent decades, concept of the development of the country is shifted from the economic development to the citizen’s mental conditions. With out doubt, it can be mentioned that artists give their enormous help to enhance the mental strength of the individual through the several media such as painting, music and dance. However, compare to other professions, these artists are failed to achieve their economic success, hence even they might not have money to maintain or repair their day to day required instruments for their artistic work. Therefore, government should protect them by providing them to some financial support, and it could be contributed to produce masterpieces

In conclusion, while there are some reasons to believe that artist should find alternative ways for fulfil their financial requirement, my own view is that government should protect them by providing the funds.
