No doubt, the world that we live in witnessing a huge technological revolution and starting to do multiple things that in the past struggling to do it. That is why some people perceive that in modern society individuals are becoming more independent of each other, while others still believe that society depends on each other. While I do admit that these technologies make our lives much easier, in my opinion, people still need each other.
Indeed, the new machines and our way of life are changed and making our lives much easier. For example, if you are missing some important information that is related to your field, you do not need to contact your colleagues or your professor, just simply search on google to find what you are missing. In addition, ChatGPT is doing numerous things, including writing an email, research, and even doing stock analysis. Therefore, the huge progress in technology makes us independent of each other and remove any commitments to people.
Nevertheless, simply depending on robots will not make you independent. To illustrate, if you want to climb the career ladder, you must have social skills and make friends. For instance, in any field that you are in, promotion will give it to you if they know you very well. Moreover, people still need each other in emergency situations, if God forbid, you make a deadly accident, you will contact people to help you. Therefore, even with technology revolution, people remain to depend to each other.
In conclusion, although the new application and new machines change our lives to reduce social commitment, people still need each other in their career or in emergencies and so on.
