Grand wedding ceremonies have become a trend these days. Some people believe that it is necessary to spend lavishly for wedding ceremonies whereas some other people argue that it is not required. In my opinion, people should spend in moderation for wedding ceremonies because it reduces the chances for financial strains among the families.
To commence with, some people want to celebrate their special day to its fullest. To make their wedding celebration more memorable people conduct large parties and grand functions by inviting large numbers of people which costs a lot of money. To cite an example, in some villages, the entire village is a part of the procession and the organizers might spend their lifetime savings on a single wedding to provide the required facilities for all the guests.
On the other hand, some other people argue that wedding ceremonies should not be lavish because large-scale marriages are not the root cause of a successful marriage relationship. Marriage should be cherished with love and commitment. For example, despite not having an elaborate wedding event, couples who opt for a simple wedding ceremony flourish in their marriage because of their deep love and unwavering commitment. Their focus on nurturing their bond and prioritizing their relationship is what ultimately leads to a successful and fulfilling marriage.
In my opinion, a wedding must be a private affair and involve only one’s close acquaintances which helps people to reduce their financial strains. It ensures that resources are managed wisely and prioritizes their financial stability and long-term goals over short-term extravagance. For example, couples who decide to have a modest wedding ceremony within their budgetary constraints opt for a small venue, limit the guest list to close family and friends and choose cost-effective options for decoration, catering and entertainment. Thus it helps them avoid accumulating excessive debt and shaky financial ground.
To sum up, some people think that wedding ceremonies should be lavish whereas some others think that they should be modest. In my opinion wedding ceremonies have to be modest since they help the couples to get more financial stability.
