There are two different opinions regarding presents for children, some prefer to present money and others to give another type of gift. This gives us two points of view, either positive or negative, I mostly relate myself to positive ideas of presenting money.
Giving money to a child will give him a faster understanding of the value of money. By this, it would create a better conception of life. The child will think on his own whether it would be better to spend money on this thing or to accumulate and buy another type of toy. Moreover, it will have a better effect on the child in terms of appreciating the things that he/she buys.
There are also negative effects that influence a child. By presenting money to a child on a regular basis it might affect his opinion about them. It would bring to that moment when in future he/she will believe that it is normal that parents give some money for expenses, which would have a terrible impact on the child’s career.
To conclude, some people believe that it is normal to present money to a child but others think that it is a terrible idea. Both of these perspectives might be correct but fortunately, it is a person’s decision what exactly to give for the holidays, and from that moment it is the children’s opinion whether it would be suitable for them or not.
