It is often argued that houses which are built well should follow the same models in local areas while others say it is our choice to build and style independently. In this essay, I will discuss both views and give my opinion.
On the one hand, In some villages constructing houses of similar style are followed and considered as a tradition.This is sometimes made to be obeyed by the locals. Furthermore, building such homes forms a good bonding between the surroundings and local residents. Thereby, resulting in a better life. For example, In some rural areas of Tamilnadu, the homes are built in correlation to one another. This is because society believes as to be equal within them and that no one is superior. On the other hand, houses that are built on their own choices might be at risk. The residents might decide to corner them and exclude them from performing social activities such as during festive seasons. This eventually results in conflict between the citizens.
In my opinion, I believe it is our right and freedom to build houses of our style. First, the amount invested to construct a house is vast. This money cannot be easily funded or returned. Second, when building a home we plan and design every room accordingly depending on the family members lives. While this is not possible if houses are built on old styles.
To conclude, the public following the norm of building an olden model house is due to the tradition where some built with freedom are at risk. However, it is better to construct buildings with our will for the better future of family and money.
