Some human beings think that newly built houses should be traditional, while others think that people should have freedom to build houses of their own style. As I see it, there should be some amount of conventional touch and some amount of modern touch when building a house. This is evidence by the number of apartments built in town areas.
On one hand, old generation in local areas always focusing on culture. Then, they build their own houses and advise to build houses for their sons, and grand sons, based on traditional methods. It is obvious that traditionally designed houses can show our own cultural values, but sometimes, it is not suit for everywhere. Moreover, the cost of building a traditional house is lesser than the cost of building a modern house. Evidence for this can be provided by the government housing project.
On the other hand, with new design ideas and technology, people tend to build their own houses in different ways. Today, we can see that so many architectures with modern ideas. However, it is true that modern apartments are bit costly than normal houses, but the outcome is incomparable. Under these circumstances, people tend to buy or build these modern houses. Evidence for this is provided by the “Home Lands Apartments” project. The Prime group is building houses with modern designs and using modern materials. People also can customize their houses from this project.
When taking everything into consideration, people should have freedom to build their own houses without harming the tradition. I must admit that houses and apartments should be modern for some extent when building these days.
