A number of people believe that the only approach to increase the recycling is reached if governments make it as a law. Although this may be an operative idea, I think there are better ways like increasing the importance of recycling by promoting it among society.
Some people believe that governments should add a law for recycling in order to force companies to recycle more. If governments set a relatively high fine for companies how do not do that, many of factories would force to recycle. As a result, the rate of recycle and reuse may increase rapidly. Although this approach may be effective, I think it is better to increase awareness about the importance of recycling and in that case, many people encourage to do it and there will be no need for penalties.
On the other hand, by promoting recycling in social media, many people specially the younger generation would encourage more to recycle. Nowadays, social media has a key factor in people’s lives and they tend to follow the trends especially the younger adults. If governments provided recycling as a healthy trend, the people and mostly the younger generation would recycle more. Furthermore, the factories may would become interested to participate too. In my opinion, this method would have wider and better impacts on recycling growth.
In conclusion, adding a law for recycling may force people to recycle more. Whereas, I think increasing the knowledge of people to find out about the importance of recycling may have achieve to far better results.
