It is widely believed by some people that these days children live in an easy life in comparison with the past, but others think that reverse is true. It is my opinion that now, children live in a difficult lifestyle in terms of a factor.
True, children nowadays live in an easy life which account for some aspects. Firstly, these day, children have great opportunity to access large amount of information from Internet platforms, such as Telegram, Facebook, or Google. That helps to boost learning process, but it may brings addiction because in our modern life, social media platforms like Instagram or YouTube are relatively common place for young generation to scroll or spend excessive amount of time to chat with their friends. As a result, they feel burnout due to being online 24 to 7 hours, or mental exhaustion that contributes to reduce capacities of brain function.
I, however, would contend life has become, on the whole, easier for children in the past. This is because, in retrospect, children didn’t have any online distraction or pressure which brings anxiety and depression. Instead, they had a book to entertain themselves or some kind of team games which gave them assistance to boost cognitive and physical skills. In this sense, overall, they were healthy in comparison with today’s children. For instance, nowadays children are so physically weak and have problems with mental capacity. But if we explore our grandfathers’ childhood, they are so strong and handsome, owing to regular physical activities without online distractions.
Having considered both sides, I would like to reiterate that children are far happier in the past due to lack of disrupti
