These days, children need to learn practical skills in school, such as car maintenance or bank account management, along with academic subjects. I partly agree with this statement and I will discuss it in this essay.
All schools should switch to new modern textbooks, not limited to only subjects but also including practical skills. For example, car maintenance, bank account management, servicing, and art should be included. Additionally, the education system should select teachers who have the qualifications and skills to teach with modern textbooks. If this tradition continues into the future, it can have a huge impact on the economy. Adults can work in any job with these skills during their free time and contribute to the economy.
Turning to the children, these skills can be useful for them. If children have practical skills, they may not face as many challenges in life. Furthermore, they can have knowledge in various fields and easily choose the best job for them. However, another argument is that some practical exercises may involve dangerous and complex tools. When young, children may not have enough strength to handle heavy machines like cars. They can be harmed if they attempt the exercises without supervision.
In conclusion, children need to learn practical skills in school. However, they should always be under the supervision of teachers.
