Nowadays, some people agree that schools are too competitive for their children, but others thinking that is a good things to motivate children to improve themselves. Indeed, it is a debated topic which this essay will compare the two point of view.
On the one hand, the comparaison that kids made between us could be affect their self-convidence. In fact, it may create a big part of stress and pressure, especially for children who are not really good academically. They can feel pretty much anxious and in their own life, it could have a big impact on us and on their family. Secondly, children can be more and more afraid about compare themselves, and it could encourage to less compare their work with their classmates. Consequently, during class sessions, have some group works and groups project could negatively affect their relationships and be not efficient as much as it should be.
On the other hand, competiton stimulate the performance and encourage to be better than each other. It is the the best way to improve and to do the greatest work of the class. With thinking like that, kids are more likely to excel and develop new skills. Moreover, this kind of approach is very usefull for their future, especially when they will start to apply for a job. For example, during an interview with a mutiple candidates, they were better than the others who don’t know how to do.
To conclude, both sides are comprehensive, but in my opinion it is earlier to teach how to be competitive when you are too young. This kind of competitve’s school can have more bad side effects on children because of their less knowledge of life.
