When space agencies and authorities explore terrestrial areas, they are likely to negative effect on the environment, as rockets release a massive amount of pollutants into the atmosphere, thereby increasing the risk of global warming. In a world where humanity already suffers from catastrophic weather conditions, including droughts, floods, heat waves, and hurricanes, increasing the risk of global warming can make a big difference in terms of perpetuating these conditions even further. Nonetheless, in my view, the benefits of learning about the universe are significant. Given these potential technological developments, it seems essential to learn about the universe even further. Furthermore, space research can promote job creation. This is because the space industry involves different kinds of jobs, such as engineers, scientists, astronauts, and software developers, thereby creating more job prospects for individuals. In a world where the unemployment rate has reached epidemic proportions, having such job opportunities takes on added significance.
In conclusion, although cosmic exploration presents some disadvantages, such as environmental problems and high costs, I believe space research is important regarding technological advancements and employment generation.
