There are opinion that succes is the most important score of intelligence, but it isn’t the true.

This essay disagree with this statement on the basis that achivements are not main value to rate person’s intellect and not always individual’s progress caused by high mental abilities.

Definitely, we can compare peoples based on their reached advance, this is not major indicator of cleverness. A lot of people who have a big potential, may not disclose it or just can’t realize their abilities. This doesn’t show that they are incapable. Some people behave strangely, non-use all opportunities to become succesfull, makes them look foolish. This is common, we see it in buisness, politic, relationships and education.

Besides, we have much cases, when the light mind with big ambitions and great capabilities could remain by the roadside. And it not connected due to their Intelligence quotient, even the opposite, they differ by their brilliant intellect, however they were unlucky. It all depend on environment, in which conditions they lived. An example, Nikolai Vavilov one of the greates biology scientist, who fought against world hunger was repressed in Soviet Union in 1940, because of their politic worldview, he couldn’t became famous and succesfull.

In conclusion, success isn’t the best measure for intelligence, exist plenty of other ways to determine person’s level of development. It saves objective and the truth.
