Band 6+: Many doctors recommend that older people exercise regularly, but most patients do not follow an exercise routine

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Several doctors recommend that exercise should be a regular part of people. Nevertheless, an exercise routine is usually not followed by most patients. There are several reasons and solutions behind this circumstance.

There are many reasons why old people do not have a perfect exercise routine. To start with, when people reach the older phase of their life, their body becomes weaker. Due to this they might feel bored, lazy, or tired when it comes to exercising, not acknowledging, how necessary it is for their own health. This is especially true for elderly women, who are going through menopause, because during this phase body shows many reactions. Additionally, in this age, people always try to procrastinate their work, because of hormonal imbalance. For example, A person who has worked hard all his life, but when it comes to daily exercise in old age he would feel tired and lazy. Also in this age people gets tired easily, which is why they procrastinate exercise.

There are multiple ways to encourage old people to exercise daily. Firstly, if doctors could demonstrate the benefits of exercising on daily basis, it could help old citizens understand better and more clearly. For instance, presenting a presentation on how beneficial exercise is. By showing how it maintains blood pressure, sugar level, and also cancer. Secondly, there are many health clubs in every corner of the city, where people can exercise together and have social conversations with each other. Through this way they would not feel bored and can excercise effectively.

In conclusion, most old patients do not follow excercise routine even after being prescribed by doctor, the reason behind this is procrastination and feeling lazy because of hormonal changes. To resolve such a phenomenon, doctors could show advantages of exercise to motivate them, or by making them join health clubs.
