people have different views about whether endangered languages should be taught in schools or it’s just a waste of money and time. While knowledge of such languages can be useful, I believe that spending this resources on other lessons may be more important.
On the one hand learning, endangered languages can be very important for some students. If children want to travel or work in that countries so for them, it will be necessary. Moreover with this language skills, they may save the culture of these kind of regions. For example, if schools pay attention to such languages, there is a small chance that the language will not die out.
On the other hand, it is perhaps even more important to pay attention on another aspects for children. In other words, there may be more lessons to spend resources and focus on. Let me take art as an example. Learning language languages it is cool but what if some students have big potential in art which is may not teaching at schools and we notice this problems in many other subjects. Thus I believe that schools will devote resources and time to other classes too. Instead of learning, endangered language, languages, and waste big amount of resources.
In conclusion, I can understand why people might want to save this kind of language languages but it seems to me that pay attention on other aspects is more important for students as nowadays as in the future.
