In recent years, opinions have generally diverged on how to make traffic safe for the public. I tend towards the idea of raising the age of gaining a driving license.
On the one hand, making an increase in the age of motoring is a feasible way to prevent some road accidents. On the grounds that the young have a little experience in this field compared to the elderly, they are also by far addicted to having motor races on open and even busy roads. Consequentially, this trend, without a doubt, will put pedestrians at risk and lead to more car crashes. On the contrary, skilled drivers can concentrate thoroughly on motorways.
On the flip side, unless the number of vehicles on the road declines significantly, it will be complicated to move transport, and not only the young but also experienced drivers will find it more challenging. Furthermore, other measures can be taken to minimize the risk of traffic movement. For instance, the size of highways also has detrimental impacts on traffic movement. Secondly, announcing a huge fine for speeding can be a plausible way of staving off this pressing problem.
In conclusion, there are several ways to ameliorate traffic safety; however, among them, I firmly believe that the increase in the age of driving and the announcement of big fines for speeding and other traffic rules.
