It is an important and debatable issue whether children should start school at an early age. This decision can have different results depending on various circumstances, including cultural and individual family life. I believe that if the mother of the child is a working woman, she might need to send them to pre-school. On the other hand, if she is a housewife, she might prefer to keep her children at home until the age of seven.
I agree that sending children to school at an early age for a limited time can be beneficial. Early schooling helps children learn teamwork, communication skills, and how to interact with unfamiliar people. Such experiences can remove shyness and build confidence from the start. Additionally, children learn to deal with different personalities and reactions to events, which can boost their critical thinking abilities. In schools, trained and qualified instructors guide children through a unified curriculum, which can promote harmony, equity, and homogeneity in society.
Conversely, in some cultures, like in the Arab world, there is a saying that the mother is the best mentor for her children. These societies often prefer not to send their children to school until they can handle basic needs like clothing, eating, and using the toilet independently. Mothers in these cultures teach their children all aspects of life, as they do not have other responsibilities except educating their children and managing home tasks. However, with the increasing participation of women in the workforce, many mothers now opt for pre-school to balance their roles in society and their jobs.
