There is an ongoing debate regarding the main purpose of education.A group of individuals believe that schools and university should teach students to prepare them for work in different fields.However,others argue that the right role of education is to create beneficial citizens.Therefore, ahead of my opinion ,both the views will be discussed further.
Examining the former opinion ,the primary argument the supporters would put forward is assist people in their situation.This is because nowadays most countries suffer from unemployment.For instance, diseases have already declared in Africa and they need experts to provide them enough treatment by medical equipment .In addition, Jobs such as doctors and engineers are crucial and the educational staff should have experience to convey the right curriculum to producing competent doctors .
On contrary ,those in favor of the latter opinion have their own arguments.To begin with, they claim that most students are lacking morals after graduation although having high qualifications .For example, a doctor may work for hospital for years,but if he treat patients badly and without respect his education loses his value.Therefore, education do not only focus on knowledge and information but also on teaching ethics and how exactly to deal with situation may person face.Morever,cooperation in soceity play a crucial role on building a cohesive world,this can easily be done by provide educational lectures about how to deal with dyslexia and disabled people as consequence,resp will spread in the country.
To conclude and offer my position, there are convincing arguments both for and against education role on wether in being a good citizens or prepare people for work .However, i certainly favor the former the latter opinion that prefer teaching adults how to be beneficial persons
