It is argued by some that music, dance and art lessons play a crucial role in education, while others think schools should primarily focus on language and math lessons. I personally think that language and science-based lessons should be studied the most.
On one side of the argument there are people who hold the opinion that dance, music and art lessons are very important lessons. This is because many people find an opportunity to relief from pain and worry while devoting a time for any kind of art. It is often said that art reduces stress and anxiety in the long-term. Given this situation, emphasizing on art-based lessons might be highly beneficial for their overall mental well-being since students nowadays struggle to cope with high stress levels due to academic workload.
On the other hand, many people think that math and language is the most crucial lessons and schools should emphasize these lessons. I think this is true because these two specific lessons push students to think critically and solve real-world problems which are necessary qualities for the workforce. Therefore, schools should undertake this responsibility and encourage students to improve in both math and language lessons
In conclusion, it is unarguable that art plays an important role as it reduces student’s stress levels and prevent them to burnout due to academic workload, however schools should emphasize mostly on math and language lessons because they are essential for business-life of the students.
