People hold differing opinions regarding weather the amount of noise one makes should be controlled or not. While some believe that it should be strictly controlled, others argue that one should be free to make as much noise as one wishes. This essay will discuss both perspective before presenting my own opinion.
One of the strongest arguments in favour of this viewpoint is that sometimes it might be a nuisance to others in the surrounding, a perspective that has become increasingly important in contemporary society. This is primarily because if an individual makes unnecessary sound and it is on a level that is intolerable to humans then it would be very dangerous, furthermore can cause noise pollution. So, if there is a strict rule about how much sound one should make then it would be easier for the society to get rid of noise pollution. As a result, it plays a pivotal role in promoting noise pollution free environment while strengthening public awareness. Consequently, this approach will not only reduce the amount of sound pollution but also insure a peaceful society, thereby contributing significantly to sustainable long-term development. A compelling example of this can be observed in many well established city’s of the world where making unnecessary sound and horn is banned, clearly demonstrating the practical significance of this perspective. Therefore, supporters firmly believe that giving greater priority to controlling the amount of noise one makes would generate substantial long-term benefits.
On the other hand, one of the most convincing arguments supporting the opposite viewpoint is that everyone have the freedom of speech , and also the right to make noise, an approach capable of producing equally meaningful outcomes. This is largely because it may ensure one’s right to speak, enabling people to secure their freedom more effectively while reducing the likelihood of violating one’s freedom. Taken together, these arguments explain why many people continue to support this viewpoint.
In conclusion, both viewpoints have valid arguments. However, I believe that controlling the amount of sound one should make is more beneficial because it offers greater long-term advantages for both individuals and society.
