Nowadays, some schools require students to attend school wearing of uniform. However, some people think that uniform should be banned, perhaps because of believing that children will stop being individuals. I completely disagree with these people and think that uniform is an important thing at school. It makes students equal in spite of their family’s income. In addition, it allows students to increase focus on studies.
Firstly, parents who do not have a high salary can not buy modern fashionable clothes for their children. Consequently, these students wear simpler or unfashionable shirts, shoes, or trousers. Whereas, in families with high income, children wear more expensive and modern clothes. For example, in my school one boy always wore his brother’s jackets, because parents could not buy a new clothes and sometimes classmates laughed at him. So, my school imposed a new rule, that all students must wear uniform. And as a result it helped to reduce peer pressure.
Secondly,a few students possibly would like wearing bright and colourful clothes instead of smart suits. As a result, their focus on studies might be reduced, because this kind of young people often think about how they look. In addition, people who wear uniform generally study more calmly and carefully. For instance, uniform allows students to increase their focus on tasks, and study better. Whereas, learners at school without uniform think, what they should wear. Consequently schools where these people learn become higher ranked.
In conclusion, I absolutely agree that uniform is one of the most important things in study approach. This kind of cloth helps students to be equal. Moreover learners might show better results, because they get higher scores.
