When recruiting employees, some people believe companies should hire creative and independent workers, while others think teamwork and discipline are more important. This essay will discuss both views and explain my opinion.
On the one hand, hiring innovative and independent employees can be beneficial. These workers bring new ideas and can solve problems creatively. For example, in technology companies, independent thinkers develop new products and improve existing ones. Moreover, self-sufficient employees do not need constant supervision, which saves managers’ time and increases efficiency.
On the other hand, teamwork and the ability to follow instructions are also essential in many jobs. In workplaces such as hospitals, teamwork is crucial because doctors and nurses must cooperate to treat patients. Similarly, in large companies, employees need to follow instructions to ensure smooth workflow and avoid mistakes. Without teamwork, companies may struggle to complete tasks effectively.
In my opinion, both qualities are important, but teamwork is more necessary in most jobs. Even the most creative employees must work with others to implement their ideas. Companies should find a balance by hiring people who are both innovative and good at teamwork.
