In the new era, gender should never be a criteria in pursuing careers. A small part of our society believes that females should be banned from working in the police force. However, I strongly disagree with the given statement that women should not be allowed in police.
Everyone deserves to be represented and not downgraded based on their gender. It is unfortunate for the people to still think that women should be removed from the forces. They think that women are weak and cannot undergo intense training. Women are still percieved as a secondary citizen. This is not the true case. Today, women are working in different sectors that require a lot of physical training. Not only in police but also in army and navy, women have been working for years now.
All the professions need to be inclusive about the representation of female counterparts. Only with equal representation and participation, the different ideas and perpectives can be shared. This will help us to upgrade as a society. Many a times, ladies have shown their talent and strength in the areas that demand physical activities. In oder to bring diversity in work place, poeple from all different genders should be included.
In conclusion, I enforce that I do not agree the control on the participation of women in police force. An environment to work in all different fields irrespective one’s gender should be made compulsorily. Equal rights to get involved and work in all different areas should be appreciated. Most importantly, efforts must be taken in normalising the involvement of females in the forces.
