In today’s society,some people think the zoo as an entertainment is unfriendly to animals live in the zoo.Another one indicate that zoo is not only an amusement,but also a method to help wild one.This essay will explore the advantage and drawback behind the two opinions and argue the necessity of zoo.
First and foremost,zoo can provide security for wild animals which can not survive on their own.It can offer food and safety to help some species which become decreasing because of hunting and change of environment.And,zoos are important for protecting rare species from extinction.For instance,the number of pandas continue increasing in advanced facilities in zoo.Moreover,when people visit zoos with their kids,they can gain a lot of knowledge about these creatures,especially,more and more people know how to help different species in need.
Nevertheless,from a natural standpoint,it is cruel that animals loss the freedom to select how they live.They only stay at zoo even a cage and be watched by human.But the public overlooks wild environment has been destroyed,for example-carbon dioxide emission dues to the the change of nature environment.Thus,for some weak wild creatures,survival is more important than freedom.
Beyond the aspect of science nature,Human cause more dilemmas that affect these wild animals the most.So we should do some things to enhance the management and the facilities of zoo in order to better protect animals rather than close.At the same time,public should educate others not to harm animals in the wild by zoo.
