Some school of thought believes that houses should be built as older houses, whereas other thinks that local authorities should allow people to build houses according to their choices. I believe both point of views have its own advantages and disadvantages.
Firstly, if the homes are designed by using traditional methodologies , then the process would be less time consuming. Constructors may not have to plan the building extensively, as they already have solid bullet proof physical layout. For example: There would be less complications building the houses as workers would already know the delivered product. There would be less confusion and past experience will help them to finish the building more rapidly. Secondly, the retro era designs would bring the nostalgia back to residents, while living in new house. This could bring back relishing memories of past that people had spent in their childhood accommodation.
However, with the various advancements in this era people perspectives are shifting more towards modernity. Therefore, many individuals would like to house or apartment to be more distinct. This could bring challenge to the architecture and will further promote brainstorming to accomplish the task according to customers demand. Not only that, it will also more variant and attractive design that could catch the attention of visitors or guest. This will encourage people to think out of the box and promote new ideas to fulfil their dreams about accommodation.
Hence, after analyzing both perspectives , it is concluded that both point of view has its advantages and viable value. The repetitive architecture would makes someone more close to the past and loving memories , but change in the designs would produce more variant results , that could create the foundation of more new ideas.
