As we are living in a global village so there should be some uniqueness in every society. Some proponents opine that young generation should have freedom for their behaviour, while others think that they should do the things in order to meets their tradition needs. In this essay, i will discuss both the view points and also explain why it is vital to follow own traditions so we can preserve our cultural values and forward it to next generation.
There are a plethora of reasons why some people believe that it is essential to follow a particular tradition. The key reason is to protect our culture, because, if younger people have knowledge about their background traditions then they can educate their offspring about it. In this way, we can pass our traditions from one generation to next generation. Otherwise, some culture will diminish with time, if not followed by adolescents. There are different festival celebration in India, for example, Diwali is renowned festival , which link us to our history, so while celebrating it children can learn about their tradition. Thus, it is pivotal to protect our culture by following it and forwarding it to upcoming families.
Some people are in the favour of that everyone should have choice to do whatever they want to do. This is because it is the fundamental right of every human being to live their own life without any restrications, and we also live in a multicultural society so it is not that important to strictly follow any particular rules related to a community. For example, if there are two festival such as diwali and hallowen on same day, than parents should give choice to children as which festival they want to celebrate rather than forcing them to strict with their traditions. In this way, young people have more freedom to live their own life and follow multiculutre.
In my Opinion, it is essential to follw our own traditions because otherwise all world will become boring with same culture. As it is important to protect our own identity by strictly following old rules as mentioned in our history or traditions.
