Decently amount of academic places have own rules about wearing different uniforms and the presence of their students, while another institutions are quite easy on dress code. This essay will suggest that being united is the biggest advantage of this and losing uniqueness is the primary disadvantage.
Wearing the same clothes would not make learners see the difference between them.
This creates a sense of unity among the pupil and creates no distortion with fashion and the competitiveness one may feel. For instance, if one learner would wear clothes from the Gucci and another one would wear clothes from Forever 21, this would make them feel the contrast between them.
Although uniforms create a mass individualism influence, students might feel conflicted and threatened to prove themselves. This might have a huge effect on pupil as they might feel the massive burden of fierce competition. Besides, wearing uniforms make them less confident whenever they go to school. Also from the perspective of fashion lovers, it is inconvenient and annoying for them as putting on uniforms seem to be unattractive and not elegant.
If anything, any culture or any followings is enforced on a mass of people, such as schools, it creates a different effect on different students. In conclusion, although wearing uniforms brings benefits, but this might sadden school children who loves fashion, and have negative consequences for the reputation of schools in some cases.
