Many individuals prefer to study online instead of attending traditional universities. I strongly believe that students being present in universities is better than taking part in studying online. This essay will discuss the Benefits and downsides of online learning.
Firstly, e-learning is more convenient as it opens more doors to pupils who are living abroad and can’t afford to leave their home country. Students don’t have to worry about missing class because of the busy road, traffic, and generally transportation costs, because with one click of the button, they can join their class once it starts.
Although it’s more favorable to students, students may be prone to laziness over time. They can enter the class and leave their session doing anything else they choose to. If they feel the class is boring or dislike the lesson they are currently having, they can leave anytime he or she want, which leaves a poor impression on the lecturer who is teaching. The students can make various excuses like “the internet is not working” or ” my mic can’t be opened” , so they can be chosen to participate in the lesson. The disciple would be more productive if they woke up, got ready to go to their university, and saw their friends. The most important point is that they would lose they’re social life. For that reason, they have been stuck to their laptop for most of their day and would eventually lose their social skills .
In my opinion, being present in universities is vastly superior to online learning. While online studying is also another great way of learning, it can never surpass seeing professors, friends, and joining group discussions.
