Most young individuals are leaving elderly people in the countryside by moving to urban areas and towns. Although others argue that it has a positive impact on a development, I totally agree with those who believe it is completely negative to growth. This is mainly because there will be problems with an age imbalance in different regions and countryside might not be developed without youth.
Addressing age balance is a major step in order to develop every country. Young people are moving to cities and villages, leaving their parents or grandparents. If this happens a lot, a specific region may only consist of elderly individuals, and it may lead to a sharp drop in population and employment, as people who are over 60 retire. For example, as a citizen of countryside, I frequently observe that even after graduating from universities in cities, most young people prefer to stay in cities rather than returning to the countryside and taking care of their old parents.
Furthermore, the growth of countries usually depends on youngsters. Nowadays, technology is developing rapidly and young people are able to manage it, as they are generally curious. Therefore, only young people can develop the country with new equipment. Nevertheless, most young people prefer to work in urban areas, which results in a negative development. For instance, most young employees who can use advanced technologies in South Korea are citizens of cities. Thus, numerous less populated regions and the countryside consist of older people who are unable to learn how to manage technologies.
To conclude, I strongly believe that leaving only elderly individuals in the countryside may have a negative impact on countries which aim to develop. It is recommended that young people return to the countryside in order to contribute to it with their knowledge.
