In this day and age, migration is becoming ubiquitous phenomenon among many people. Therefore, today’s young generations prefer to reside in urban areas, leaving homes and elderly people in the countryside. While some problems are certain to arise as a result of this trend, a number of steps can be taken to deal with them.
To begin with, nowadays, a vast majority of individuals migrate from rural to urban places. This is because there are so many facilities that one can meet his or her growing demands in cities, meaning that people usually go to the modern municipals to find another job as way of earning more, since those people cannot make ends meet and afford for daily expenses – gas, water and electricity in villages. However, the underlying problem can stem from this – namely, there will be overpopulation that is a pragmatic issue around the world. As the population increases in towns, so does the pollution. This means, if many people were to live in downtowns, they might contaminate atmosphere because those individuals produce toxic wastes that can erode the ozone layer. For example, many animals and plants can be threatened by this, as these wastes might pollute our environment, leading to a loss of biodiversity of natural habitats. Moreover, an increasing number of people can bring about more traffic jams and noise in cities and this, in turn, can impact on economy. Since, these problems aforementioned might cause economic constraints around the country, that is gridlocks and noise are inevitable issues that need to receive more governmental fundings.
As for remedies, several effective steps can be taken to tackle this issue. First and foremost, factories, offices and workplaces have to be built in the countryside, and government play an essential part in this. This should involve more people to return to the rural areas, thereby creating more job opportunities and also people can definitely lead a life there. Another viable solution could be rising public awareness. It is true that many people who live in cities are always main polluters; for this reason, if local officials show the consequences of pollutions in urban areas, their attitudes and awareness will be enhanced by this implementation.
In conclusion, the issues of growing pollution and economic constraints as a result young people migration can be alleviated by creating more workplaces within countryside and governments are big players in this.
