Band 5+: Some young people like to copy the behavior and clothes of famous people. Why might this be the case? What problems might it cause?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In today’s contemporary world, everybody encounters many celebrities and influencers via social media. Some teenagers aspire to imitate the manners, clothes and also life styles of famous people. There are numerous reasons why it occurs and which factors influence this that may pose ramifications. To my way of thinking, the first main causes for this are parental neglect and social pressure which can drive a youngster into terrible ways.

It is indeed becoming increasingly problematic for young people who desire to follow their idols is a child neglect which is an ambitious issue today. Adults are left on their own devices by their parents and parents do not also observe children’s behavior, what they doing and wearing. As a result, they become obsessed with social media. If parents monitor their children and deprive them from accessing social networks, they would avoid such issue. Peer pressure, moreover, is an influential part of this problem because young people crave to keep up with their peers and they feel terrible, if they do not fulfil what their friends do as popular people.

Every popular people have drawbacks, meaning that they may be bad-tempered or even be gangster and almost half of them are infamous. There are a lot of viral videos on social media which mislead young individuals or inappropriate to their religion. Such videos may even transform them into ‘new’ humans. Not only adults, but old people may lose their identity. Some renowned people may preach their audience to join their other secret groups which are the part of terrorism.

In conclusion, every person should not follow their idols and parents should raise their children in a strict condition because it leads to the wrong track. Personally, I think people should maintain their distinctive characters because they have their own positions in society.
