Space exploration has been such an arguable topic for a long while. Some maintain the idea that space research is very important for the improvement of science and the fate of mankind. However, there are people who believe that the resources could be effectively used for solving problems on Earth. Although humanity can handle the problems of the environment with the supplies and money that are planned to be used for space discovery, I agree with the idea which defends the importance of space exploration. This is because certain reserves that individuals find with space missions can be beneficial and new things that are discovered can be important for science.
On the one hand, astronomical exploration has such a necessary role for the future of civilizations and to improve science. Its assistance for scientific research is discovering new phenomena that are not familiar to people. To illustrate, both the well-known scientists A. Einstein and S. Hawkings were really absorbed with black holes, thus, their explorations really helped to improve the science. Additionally, individuals can use the resources from other places in space. They can be certain energy sources or even foods and water to consume. For instance, the planet Jupiter is a source of solar energy. And there are certain minerals that people can use as food on Mars. Individuals can consume these both resources. Due to these reasons, I believe that astronomical missions are really necessary.
However, humanity can use the supplies and money for solutions of issues on Earth. There are certain problems that can be called as danger for the destiny of mankind. These would be climate change, deforestation, extinction of some sorts of animals and plants, and etc. If people want to handle these problems , certain supplies would be needed. For example, many individuals who planned forestations wouldn’t be supported enough. But with the resources that would be used for astronomical discoveries, people can get. Despite these reasons, I argue that space exploration is so important for mankind, because of the above-discussed argument.
In conclusion, despite the supplies and money that can be used for handling problems on Earth, I believe that space missions are really important for science and human progress. This is because people can improve science with the help of these discoveries and get certain resources, which can be useful for them.
