This essay is of the opinion that teachers play a more important role in shaping students’ educational experiences due to a number of reasons.

First of all, despite the variety of useful information on the Internet, there is also much wrong and inaccurate information that students might get. Moreover, when the amount of information is too large, students will not be able to choose the information they need. For example, if a student searched for a keyword on google, in 5 seconds they would receive one million or even more answers. In addition, students are easily distracted while learning through online tools because of the temptation of many different types of video games, social media. Recent studies by a reputable university showed that students who studied via the Internet are more likely to feel depressed and stressed compared to students who have classes with classmates and teachers.

When students are more likely to study online, the schools don’t meet the standard for the number of students;Therefore, they are not qualified to improve the educational quality for students studying at school. Furthermore, when online learning is becoming popular, there will appear a problem that many families in rural areas don’t have the ability to provide their childrens with essential electronic devices, so their children will lose the opportunity to receive education prescribed by law. Finally, the internet can not identify student’s weaknesses and strengths, such as the university entrance examination. Teachers can guide students through their abilities, passions and achievements, and teach them by the suitable educational curriculum.

In conclusion, resources of knowledge through Internet platforms are quite useful for self-studying, but information students acquired by their teachers is more valuable. Students should use online tools for practicing at home or if they want to find more information, and they can also call the teachers for help to reach their achievements.
