Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to report a loss incident that happened when I traveled from New York City to Boston.
The item I lost is a black Canon M100 digital camera currently retailed for $500. It comes with a long strap with the brand name “Canon” on it and is carried inside a brown protection case. The camera is valuable and sentimental as I had brought it on several trips over the past 5 years and had more than 6,000 photos saved in the memory card inside the camera.
On the day of the incident, November 18, 2023, I was on the train 625 departing from New York City at 11am to Boston. As it arrived at the destination at around 2:45pm, I might have left the camera on my seat N55 and forgot about it after moving my luggage and getting off the train.
I would like to ask if any staff member or passenger found and turned it in. If it was found, please contact me at 987-654-3210 and I will come to pick it up.
Yours faithfully,
Phuong
