In the temporary era, belonging with the high unemployment rate, some people argues that the governments should only provide primary education, without secondary level. From my perspective, I firmly disagree with this view, because each level of education provides suitable knowledge for children’s growth, and secondary school also gives them the skills and certificates needed for jobs, as will be discussed in the following paragraphs.
One of the most compelling reasons why secondary school plays a crucial role in children’s growth is that it provides teaching methods suitable for their age. To be more specific, human brains and awareness develop gradually as children grow older, and an appropriate learning approach at each stage helps them broaden their understanding more effectively, both in social and intellectual aspects. For example, while primary education focuses on fundamental skills such as reading and writing, secondary school introduces subjects like science and technology, which match the cognitive abilities of teenagers and prepare them for more complex challenges in life.
Another equally important point to consider is that secondary study levels supply sufficient experience and knowledge in basic occupations. Take the case of various manual works, ranging from machine operators to office employees, which often required graduate certification in at least secondary school. Therefore, instead of abandoning secondary teaching methods, governments should ensure its availability so that young people can be better prepared for the labor market.
In conclusion, the question of over whether children should be only supply primary education – no secondary school to avoid high unemployment rate or not continues to spark debates. Personally, I believed that all younger should be learnt a suitable knowledge follow to their age and secondary graduate certification also contributed a necessary acquired in some jobs, this offers a more sustainable and beneficial approach in a long term.
