Band 6+: Teachers are more important than parents in a child's educational development.Do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, many people believe that education should be handled by the teachers in the school. I disagree, because education is not only the teachers’ job, but it is the collaboration between parents and teachers.

To begin with, teachers and parents are both essential to improving children’s education. This means that it is not the teacher’s sole responsibility to handle the material for their kids. However, it is also the parents’ part to assist and make sure their children understand the lesson. For example, a teacher gives an assignment to the students, and the parents need to guide their kids to work on the assignments. Therefore, students can fully grasp the material taught at school.

Additionally, Parents are usually very familiar with their children’s educational needs and behaviour. This means that parents devoted much more time to their children, psychologically, kids have a tight bond with their family, and they can easily receive advice or the teaching given by their parents. For instance, parents take their time to teach their kids math, even though math is challenging for the children, it can be absorbed by the kids because their parents help them to do that with the approach method that they have given to them.

In conclusion, developing education is not only teachers’ job but also parents’ job to make their kids comprehend the lesson because psychologically they have a bonding between parents and children, and this tight bonding can support bonding able to help children to grasp the whole lesson.

Nowadays, some employers think that formal academic qualifications are more important than life experience or personal qualities when they look for new employees. Why is it the case? It is negative or a negative development
