Today, we live in the 21st century which is called Technology and it is playing a key role to evolve all fields in the globe especially, in education, Technological advancements cause to some educational issues in the society.
First and foremost, although high technology leads to improve most fields well, it contributes to reduce effectiveness of learning foreign languages. That is why the variety of the apps like any translators, spell-checkers, auto corrects make people to cut back human’s eagerness to be a bilingual person. According to study in 2020, 88 percentages of the mobile users is not learning a new language because of any translator apps as they have had an opportunity to utilize it in any time so as to convey with foreign people easily through translating necessary sentences or Artificial intelligence.
Secondly, due to the fact that technology comes to our life gradually, new occupations are increasing year by year such as: IT managers, social workers, software desiners. According to the researchers’ notion, overall employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations from 2023 to 2033. These process cause to make the youngs to choose these careers instead of learning foreign languages. The main reason is that, working in these professions is able to enrich people’ s income in speed. For instance, according to the information research scientists, the median annual wage for this group was $104,420 in may 2023, which was higher than the median annual wage for all occupations of $ 48,060. Consequently, most humans prefer to work in contemporary fields instead of wasting their time to learn new languages.
