Language is the bridge that connects thought to expression and people to one another. The English as a “Global language” among people will drive more benefits than its disadvantages. While I agree that there would be a few drawbacks of the increasing use of English as a global language but it’s advantages would certainly outweigh the drawbacks . Admittedly the spread of English would not come without its problem. To begin with, many people see the spread of English as nothing but dominance of Western world. For instance, People will begin to adapt themselves according to modern culture. Furthermore, the influence of Englishb will overshadow the native language. To exemplify this, frequent use of English can lead to less use of native words and weakening the native language.
However, there are several valuable effect of use of English in conservation. Firstly, there will be no language barriers among people of different nations. Due to this, job opportunities will increase as people get able to work in other countries also. Secondly, by using english as a globe language,there will be feeling of brotherhood peace and unity among people of different countries. Moreover, it will reduces the feeling of insecurities which occur due to language obstacle.
To conclude, the transition of English into an international language would certainly result in loss of diversity but I still consider it to be a positive development for its advantages.
