The bar chart displays the number of male smokers in seven countries compared with other countries in the world. The numbers are given in percentages between 2000 and 2015.

Overall, it can be seen that most countries showed a high number of smokers in the year 2000. However, these numbers declined in the year 2015. On the other hand, Lebanon and Armenia had it otherwise; the number of male smokers increased steadily in 2015.

The number of male smokers in Armenia was significantly higher than in other countries, about 67 percent in 2000. Bangladesh showed slightly better results than Armenia, with a number averaging about 62 percent. The lowest number of male smokers in 2000 was particularly in Australia.

In 2015, the number of smokers in Egypt and Lebanon rose significantly, by around 45 percent. However, other countries and the world showed a steady decrease generally.
