Overall, there were less male smokers in 2015 in every counrty as well as in the world average apart from Egypt and Lebanon. America had the most smokers in 2000 and in 2015 too.
Overall in the world, the percentage of male smokers decreased from about 43% in 2000 to almost 33% in 2015. This is because, in 2015, almost every country had less male who smoked. However, Egypt and Lebanon’s male smokers increased from approximately 35% to about 50% and 45% respectively.
America had the most male smokers in 2000 and in 2015, while Australia had the least ones in both periods of time. Although, the country who made a huge difference in proportion of male smokers was Bangladesh, where we may find the difference of 25% of decreasement. On the other hand, Cuba’s male smokers reduced just by 5%.
