The bar chart demonstrates the percentage of adult male smokers in seven countries along with world average in 2000 and 2015.
Overall, the percentage of male smokers in 2000 is mostly high whereas the percentage of male smokers in 2015 is relatively low. The world average and the collective data from seven different countries highlight that the percentage of male smokers in past was high than today.
Although, there are minute changes can be seen in Lebanon where the percentage of male smokers in 2015 is high as compared to 2000 which is unusuall regarding to other countries. The Armenia has the highest percentage among all countries where the 65% of male smokers in 2000 and 50% in 2015. The Egypt also have high percentage such as the percentage of male smokers in this country was 62% in 2000 while 39% in 2015. Cuba and Mexico also define certain level of male smokers in their countries respectively. On all of that Australia has the lowest male percentage of smokers from 2000 to 2015 in 2000 it was 28% while in 2015 it is 18%. The world average also showing the highest percentage of male smokers in 2000 which is 42% and in 2015 it is 33%.
