In Adelaide the top preferences of the city residents to buy and drink coffee and tea in the past four weeks were either buying instant coffee or visiting a cafe for tea or coffee at a percentage of 50 which further moved to buying fresh coffee at 34 percent
Melbourne and Hobart had the highest percentage of city residents who had gone to a cafe for tea or coffee in the last four weeks at 64 and 63 percent respectively followed by Sydney at 60 percent, Brisbane at 56 percent and Adelaide with the least percent of 49. Hobart and Brisbane have the highest percent of city residents that had bought instant coffee in the past four weeks at a percent of 54 and 53 respectively followed by Adelaide at 49 percent, Melbourne at 48 percent and Sydney by 46 percent. The highest percentage of people who had consumed fresh coffee in the last four 4 weeks were from Sydney and Melbourne at a percentage of 48 and 47 respectively followed by Hobart at 38 percent. Brisbane and Adelaide had the same and the least percentage of 34.
