People hold different perspectives on the topic of reduction the traffic congestion in the cities. While some individuals might argue that the government should provide public transport free for people in the cities 24 hours and whole weekto decrease the traffic problems it has a lot of cost of that, I firmly believe that the cities should not have public transport all day and week.
To begin with, there is a widely accepted notion that if the government provides public transport free of cost to people in their cities 24 hours and all week, they have high costs. Currently, the government has a lot of costs to develop urban areas and spend money on many utilities in cities. For example, the government should develop education for children in the cities because education can help children have knowledge, and they should spend money on public health for people which is the most important for people. Therefore, the government should spend money on the most important thing that they should do for their people.
Furthermore, it seems that if people only use public transport all day and all week, it can create a huge amount of pollution. To explain, many countries have faced the problem of global warming which is partly caused by pollution and car smoke is the main cause of increased pollution. For instance, When people use public transport, the public transport emits exhaust gases. Moreover, the public vehicles can create voice pollution which is caused by people use public transport all the time.
To conclude, although people argue that the cities should have public transport free 24 hours and whole week, I believe that the government should not provide public transport free for people all day and all week because they have high costs and public transport can create a huge amount of pollution through exhaust gases emissions.
