Some individuals claim that investing more in young people is an optimal way for the future development of a nation. From my perspective, I partially agree with this viewpoint for specific reasons that I will present in this essay.
On one hand, making a substantial investment in young people offers higher prospects for human capital development. A better future for a country signifies advancements and the maintenance of quality of life. Fortunately, the youth possess robust well-being, creativity, innovation, and potential workforce. Therefore, if the government allocates a larger budget to support the growth of teenagers, it will ensure many facilities and conditions for their comprehensive development, thus increasing the number of gifted young individuals. Consequently, this would secure the future of a country through significant human capital development.
On the other hand, there are downsides to focusing solely on the youth and neglecting other aspects. For example, the healthcare system plays a vital role in human life, providing better health outcomes for individuals and ensuring that people from all social classes have a foundation to thrive. This not only enhances the quality of life for citizens but also contributes to the overall development of the nation. Conversely, if there is limited budget allocation for healthcare, it may lead to increased inequality and higher fatality rates, consequently affecting employees and other members of society.
In conclusion, although investing heavily in young people may offer various advantages, it is crucial not to overlook other sectors, especially healthcare. From my perspective, investing in multiple basic human needs is a more comprehensive approach to prepare for the future of a country.
