At school, underachieving students should be involved in various after-school activities. And so, students will be more engaged in schools and their grades will continue to improve. I partly agree this idea.
On the one hand, underperformers should be more involved in extra curricular activities in an interesting way. These extra-curricular activities help students to acquire sufficient skills in a difficult additional subject and learn the necessary knowledge quickly. For example, if a student is struggling to learn English, who can go to a private tutor to improve his English-related skills and knowledge. That tutor will help the student to improve his or her knowledge. Moreover, once a student has enough knowledge of that subject, he will not struggle at all and will leave the ranks of underachieving students.
On the other hand, voluntary participation of students in various activities and the help of tutors can be more effective for students. Helping students choose subjects that really interest them leads to greater participation and improvement. In addition, combining after-school activities with other forms of support can meet a variety of needs. Schools that offer extra after-school classes or recommend tutors who work with each student have seen higher levels of student satisfaction and academic achievement, and students have They felt supported and motivated.
To conclude, I believe that every underachieving student should attend a private tutor from his school and get motivation from the teachers. Only then, they will be interested in every subject.
